
FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City - The Philippine Marine Corps warmly welcomed a new set of aspiring Marines in an Oath-Taking Ceremony and Reception Rites held at the Bonifacio Naval Station Grandstand on September 6, 2023.
A total of 122 volunteers composed of 118 males and 4 females will form part of Marine Basic Course classes 501st and 502nd. They will undergo a 6-month rigid training at The Basic School in Ternate, Cavite before embarking on a career with the Philippine Marine Corps.
The said ceremony was graced by the Acting Commandant, BGen Jimmy D Larida PN(M), who sent his well wishes and challenged them to do their best in the training.
