Honoring Excellence: PMC dons rank to Newly Promoted Officer

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City- The Philippine Marine Corps held a donning of ranks to newly promoted officers with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel earlier today at Headquarters, PMC.

During the ceremony, MGen Arturo G Rojas PN(M), Commandant PMC, congratulated the newly promoted officers and commended them for their dedication and contributions to the accomplishments of the mission of the PMC and the AFP. He also reminded the importance of promotion. “A promotion in the Marine Corps is more than an elevation in status; it comes with greater responsibilities and higher expectations. As marines, we are held to the highest discipline, excellence, and service standards. We are the first to respond in times of crisis, and we must lead with integrity, courage, and resilience”, he said.

The donning of ranks ceremony is a time-honored tradition in the AFP that signifies their transition to a higher rank, along with the greater responsibilities.
