FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – On March 12, 2025, Major General Arturo G Rojas, Commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps spearheaded the awarding of the two Marine Corps personnel who saved the life of a 10-year old victim from drowning.

Cpl Jestoni Dalman PN(M) and PFC Jaypee Navales PN(M), both from the 64th Force Reconnaissance Company (FRC) of the Force Reconnaissance Group, were awarded the Military Merit Medal on March 12, 2025. This award is given to every Military Personnel of the AFP who showed heroic or meritorious achievement for service.

The heroic act of both Cpl Dalman and PFC Navales proves the Marine’s unwavering dedication to their duty and service to the people.
