Defense Attaché of Japan to the Philippines visits Philippine Marine Corps

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig – Col Akiba Kazuaki JASDF, Defense Attaché of Japan to the Philippines, paid an exit visit to the Headquarters Philippine Marine Corps earlier today.

He was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Commandant Philippine Marine Corps, BGen Vicente MAP Blanco III PN(M). During said visit, the discussion focused on the collaboration of two forces when it comes to joint exercise, training, and on enhancing defense cooperation and interoperability, particularly in areas like maritime security and disaster relief.
