ZAMBOANGA City – The Assault Armor Battalion (AABn) welcomes its new Commander in the person of LtCol Maria Rowena A Muyuela PN(M), as LtCol Francel P Mendoza PN(M) relinquished his duty in a Change of Command Ceremony presided by MGen. Arturo G Rojas PN(M), Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps on 07 March 2024.

MGen Rojas expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Commander, LtCol Mendoza PN(M), for his leadership and initiative in transforming the AABn into a modern and versatile armor unit.

Likewise, he lauded LtCol Muyuela for her readiness in her new challenging role: “your expertise in strategic planning and your foresight in integrating modern warfare techniques have been pivotal in preparing our battalion for the complexities of contemporary combat scenarios” he said.
